Red Rock Canyon

The scorching desert, inhospitable to most at 115 degrees, but to me it just feels like home. My wife and daughter waited for me in the car for most of the duration of my shooting, only emerging for short bursts of exploration. My 3 year old daughter instructing me that it's "smokin hot Dad," while my wife musters only faint hand signals... most of which unrepeatable on this blog.   Despite this excessive heat, I found it hard to leave. I had another, more interesting desert shoot planned for Death Valley, but it got nixed for this trip. I shall have to return, but it will probably have to be on my own... Unless I can find another extreme hot weather person such as myself to shoot with.

Anyone?
